| The e1 electric scooter has a classic retro look. It's small and very easy to manoeuvre with chic styling that's timelessly cool. Those small wheels make it perfect for the inner city or urban commute, helping you turn quickly, wriggle down narrow side-streets and dart through traffic. It's also very light and easy to lift onto the centre stand, so you won't scuff your footwear. Whether you choose the e1 with 2000W or the e1+ with 3000W, you get a zero-maintenance brushless hub motor. You can charge all e-motive scooters using the standard 240v UK mains power and the supplied charger. Simply plug it in at the end of the day. Batteries have no 'memory', so they don't need to be drained before charging. At a standstill the e1 is completely silent. It's a strange sensation at first, and you'll wonder if it's turned on. But twist the throttle grip and the engine picks up immediately, producing a slight whirr to let you know it's electric. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes front and rear. Each E-Motive electric scooter has switchable power output. On the open road, you'll want full power for optimum performance, but there's also a handy energy-saver option for stop-start traffic and urban trickling. As well as conserving power, this switch provides softer take-off and acceleration for easy handling when the streets are choked with traffic and pedestrians, or when you want to maximise your mileage. The e1 comes in a variety of colours. Even more choices will be appearing soon, so if we haven't got the colour you want, watch this space. | ![]() | ![]() |
