Why buy e-motive?

As personal transport becomes ever more expensive and pollution makes city life unhealthy and unpleasant, the appeal of zero-emissions vehicles is increasing all the time. They're incredibly cheap to run, and with the latest battery and motor technologies can easily do the job of their petrol cousins. And because they're zero-emissions vehicles, there are benefits to the environment that you'll also feel in your wallet.

Who is e-motive?

Unlike other companies selling electric scooters, with e-motive you are buying from a national organisation with the backing of a national dealer network. This means you can test-drive the scooters before purchase, get specific advice from knowledgeable technicians and also enjoy full after-sales servicing and support. The e-motive range uses the latest technology, with excellent build quality and a peace-of-mind package that's second to none.

We're a small team brought together by our passion for two-wheeled transport and our interest in the latest automotive technology. We all ride bikes (that's us zooming about in the picture) and we only sell products we truly believe in.

Living with an e-motive

An e-motive scooter takes its power from a series of batteries you can charge from your mains supply at home. These batteries drive a new, highly efficient, low-maintenance brushless electric motor.

So when you twist the throttle the motor turns the wheels and all you hear is a faint whirr. There's no need for an exhaust pipe, because there's no exhaust. That keeps everything clean - the bike, your clothing and the air around you. You can hear the birds sing and the grasshoppers call, and you can smell the flowers.

We've calculated it costs about 1p a mile to run an e-motive scooter, and you can recharge the batteries up to 2000 times before they'll need recycling. Under normal use, the battery should last up to three years before it will need recycling.

Electric scooters are not liable for road tax, many cities offer free parking for electric vehicles and congestion charges do not apply. All because you're not producing harmful CO2 gases.
